Important! Support for all 3.xx versions of ZOLL emsCharts for Windows ended on March 31, 2023. ZOLL continues to support the three latest versions of emsCharts for Windows.

Internet/cellular connectivity

Data is saved to the device while offline, but Internet connectivity is required to sync data to and from the server. Faster speeds will enhance the user experience with the system.

Disc imaging programs

Products like Deep Freeze takes regular snapshots of the system. You should exclude ZOLL emsCharts for Windows from the applications that are included in the snapshot.

Medical devices (defibrillators and monitors)

ZOLL emsCharts for Windows can accept case files from the following devices via Bluetooth or Flash Drive. ZOLL X Series devices can also import via ZOLL Cloud EKG.

Security

  • The ZOLL emsCharts for Windows database is encrypted in AES-256.

  • The transmitted data is encrypted via HTTPS and TLS 1.2/1.3.

  • ZOLL emsCharts for Windows uses standard web port 443 for secure data transmission. Port 80 is used for non-secure items such as checking network availability, but no data is transmitted over port 80.

  • Ports 5050 and 5051 are not utilized by ZOLL emsCharts for Windows.

It is strongly recommended your administrator set the ConfigurationCommand Facility > ChartP5Anatomical Exam setting to 'Yes, v3 Body'.
